Do You Believe These Health, Diet and Fitness Lies?


Mark Twain once said: "There are lies, damn lies and statistics."

To paraphrase Mark abit, I say: "There are lies, damn lies and health statistics."

Of course, I could have also said, nutrition, diet, execise or fitness statistics. 

   These industries have been lying to you from day 1.



The bottom line is that the health, nutrition and fitness industries have one purpose
 in mind.  That purpose is to make money.  And they do it quite well.

Each industry by itself makes over a billion dollars a year.  Add them all up and
that is a lot of money. 

What if they gave you a true program that helped you lose weight permanently...

What if they gave you a true program that helped you stay fit permanently...

What if they gave you a true program that helped you become healthy and stay
healthy permanently...

What if they gave you a true program that helped you have tons of energy permanently...

Well, if they did that, they would go broke!

Because after you became fit and healthy at the right body weight and have tons of
energy, you would not need them anymore. 

And they know that. 

That is why all of their programs are based on temporary fixes only. 

That is why all these industries are built on a foundation of lies. 


                         Let's look at a few of these myths and lies


Let's examine just a few of the lies so that you can see how ingrained they have
 become in our lives. 

                                                       Weight Loss


Just eat less.
Just eat less fat.
Just eat less carbs.

All of these statements are lies.  You can't just eat less food and expect to lose
weight permanently. 
You can't just eat less fat or less carbs or even less protein and expect to lose
weight permanently. 

Notice I said "lose weight permanently".  And that is the key to their deception. 

No diet in the world, and there have been thousands of them through out history,
has ever been designed for you to lose weight permanently. 

And every diet will help you lose weight temporarily. 

See how sneaky this is.  You can lose weight on any diet for a short while. 
So if all you want is a temporary weight loss, then you can try any diet you want. 

If you want to lose weight and keep it off permanently, then you have to do
something different.  And the first thing is to stop dieting immediately. 

                                                 Fitness and Exercise

You have to exercise for at least 30 to 60 minutes every day to become fit. 
You have to exercise aerobically for at least 20 minutes to get in the fat burning zone.
This ab machine or ab exercise program will give you 6 pack abs in just a few weeks.

Sorry, but yet again all of those statements are lies. 

So called exercise gurus perpetuate these lies so they can sell you their long drawn
out programs that take hours to complete. 

Or they have some miracle ab machine or biceps builder that turns you into an
Olympic gymnast overnight. 

In reality you have to exercise approximately 36 seconds at a time.  And the best
way to do this is to do it several times a day. 

And here is the key, that so many exercise gurus forget, you have to be doing
something that you can and will continue to do for your life. 

Do you really think that those people on "The Biggest Loses" continue exercising
for 4 to 6 hours a day in a controlled environment  after the show?  No they don't. 
And that is why most of them gain the weight right back. 

                                                Health and Energy Lies


This pill or diet or supplement will give you more energy than you ever had before.
This new medicine won't hurt you.
This procedure will make you look 15 years younger. 

Again, all lies. 

Any pill, diet food or supplement that you take to give you more energy is just a
 stimulent.  And every stimulent has negative health consequences.  There are plenty
of other, natural, ways to stimulate your body, mind and spirit.

Every medicine you ever take has negative side effects.  It doesn't take much research
 to find the thousands of people that have been harmed and even killed by the medicine
they take. 

Even the ads today list negative after negative after negative effect on the body.  
The one I like the best was for the antidepressant that said one of the side effects was
an increased risk of suicide.

Not a good thing.

If, as an example, face lifts made you look younger, then Phylliss Diller would look like
she was 19 years old. 

                                               What Can You Do?

So what can you do?  Right now maybe you are overweight, you are not in good
shape or you are not in the best of health. 

If all these industries are lieing to you, then what are your options. 

Well, you could spend hours and hours doing research.  You could get an education
on health, nutrition or physical education from a university. 

Then you could experiment on yourself to see what works best for you.  Problem is
that would be quite expensive and take a lot of time. 

Or you could find someone that already has the education, that already has done
tons of research, that already has trained hundreds of people and that lives the lifestyle.

Let me introduce myself. 

My name is Mike Val.  I have been a personal training and taught at the elementary,
high school, college and university levels.  I have also taught in the community and at
Army and Navy bases.

And I have stayed fit and healthy for my entire life.  You can see some of my pictures
on the about me page.

But, most importantly, I have worked with people who have needed to lose weight
and helped them get healthier and fitter.  And stay that way. 

Now I have done this on a personal level before.  This is the first time I have done
 this online. 

I do have products. 
I do have an ezine which you can sign up for.
I do have a blog which you can check out.
I do have some videos which you can see.

So why am I doing this online now?  I think - as a nation - that we are getting soft. 
You can see this in the rates of obesity in this country.  And, more sadly, you can
see this in the skyrocketing rates of obesity in our children. 

I can't reach hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands of people at a time personally. 
But, I can do so by being online. 

So if you or someone you know wants to:

  • Lose Weight Permanently - easily
  • Get in Great Shape - without wasting hours a day
  • Get Healthier - without getting hooked on medications
  • Have More Energy - without taking stimulents
Then you have come to the right place.
